Hi

Been playing with some SNES emulation and bought a SNES to USB adapter and a third party SNES Joypad.

Cannot get it work properly.

How can I find out if the Adapter is no good or the Joypad ?

Are you sure the adapter allows the SNES to work with Mac, not just PC? Can you give us a link to the product you're using? Sounds interesting...

Hi

Found out today that you can use the PS3 controller over Bluetooth in Snow Leopard.

Works a treat :)

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but these are few and far between and I have some answers.

That particular one uses USB HID so no drivers are needed.

Hi

I got this adapter : http://www.gamesbasement.co.uk/accessories/pc-mac/snes-to-usb-converter-PD-1593.html

Also a third party made in China SNES controller....
It's most likely your third party controller. I've got an original SNES controller and RetroZone's USB Super RetroPort (freaking love it) and it works perfectly in SNES9x in OS X. RetroZone even warns you not to use third party knockoffs.
