Discover is still holding their 5% cashback bonus on all orders placed on Apple.com. If you read the terms and condition, it says NO preorders, and even more specifically, - not valid on Apple Watch.

Specifically, from Discover:

Fair enough - I hadn't caught that it did not apply to preorders. I cannot delete this thread.
 
Chase Freedom's extra cash back also doesn't work on new Apple products. Generally all these card deals don't.
