I actually emailed their support email about it a month or so ago. I said "when will snood be coming to the iPhone"

Their one line response was

"Hopefully soon"

I dunno...

Snood would be the best game ever for the iPhone. Hands down. I'm surprised it isn't already available. I don't really know how many people bought it for their desktop, but I'd guess Snood for iPhone would out-sell its desktop cousin.

I think this is what happened.
The app was removed on April 2nd. That is the same day that this was posted on twitter by the snood people (twitter.com/snood)

Snood: is making way for the Snood iPhone and iTouch app.

So they posted on twitter that they were making way for an iPhone/iPod Touch app on the day Snoodio was removed. So, I'm guessing they contacted apple asking for it to be taken down because they were going to make an official app.
