I just got done using my 2-stage snow blower here in Hartland, Michigan.
We got at least 10", it's finally slowed but the winds are 20-30mph gusts, so now drifting. Took almost 2 hours to do my 600 feet of driveway, front sidewalk/porch/etc.

Very beautiful and scenic, I took some pictures with my point/shoot, may post them in the digital photo forum.

Almost everything was cancelled today, church called and cancelled 10:30 service, my daughters friend had to cancel her 2pm B-day party.

Kinda like the movie "Snow Day", but a Sunday. Too soon to say if they will cancel school tomorrow or not, some of the weather reports say we may end up with 12-16", that is a lot of snow.

I can beat you. We got 12" Thursday which made for a great commute, and then another 6" this morning. So a good 18" of snow and it took me about 4 and 1/2 hours total to do our 300 ft of driveway.

It seems like this winter is shaping up to be a bad one. My friends in NJ have already had 4 decent storms, and it's not even officially winter for another 4 days!

So much for Global Warming :)

We're level with northern Canada here but our temperatures are still in the positives. It's about 5ºc during the day. And I'd love some snow

We finally got some snow here in Southern Illinois!! I was so excited, I love snow, I'm like a kid in a candy store when it snows. :) However, we only got about 2" and its already melting :( If you get some spare time, could you send it my way?? K thx bye...

This thread is nothing to us So. Cal. residents without pics!
Here's looking at 73℉ and no chance of snow.

"What's snow?"; I hear you cry. :p

We're at -2ºC but still no chance of snow for some weird reason.

i beat you it took me 15 min to clear 10 in of snow off my 400ft driveway. hahah. you all need tractors. i love snow

John Deere Tractors rule!
yea my wimpy 28" 12hp 2 stage snow thrower is nothing compared to my neighbor and his tractor. We live on a private road and he also does the road, 3 passes and he's done.

pictures please or it didn't happen ...

I think so too. Here in Ohio, we went from golden leaves on the trees to no leaves to snow in a matter of days. Now we alternate from snow to ice to rain and back every day. It is miserable. I hate winter. I need to move to South America ;)
