I have a problem with my ensemble interface from apogee and a MacPro Intel Xeon with Snow Leopard 10.6.4.
When i play sounds or music from the Preview, Itunes, Safari or Firefox I get a real distorted sound with glitches and so on. Most of the time the sound from Quicktime Player 7 is ok and in Logic (9.1.1) Its ok with 512 Buffersize. When I turn it down (256, ...) the same distorted sound appears. I have no other firewire devices connected to the mac. I did a update to the newst firmware. Then a downgrade to an older version ... Nothing changed. Im in contact with epogee Support and they are very helpful but it seems like we are getting no solution for now. Have you ever heard about such problems. Any Ideas?
