I have an old 1gen macbook running a media center through Plex. I use my 46" Samsung TV as an external display, and just found out that SL allows the output to be 1080p as opposed to 1080i which is the setting Ive used so far. I'm already worried that my poor old 1.83ghz machine does not run movies as smooth as it should, so I am basically just wondering whether choosing 1080i will be even more demanding for it?
