Snow Leopard alerts of battery failure

I was just using my computer today, and apparently my battery got into the "Check Battery" condition. Snow Leopard alerted me of this, and a message popped up saying to check battery. It also says that next to the percentage of in the menu bar.

Nice find. I can see that being useful for people who aren't too technically equipped and are wondering why their batteries are only lasting for an hour.
