Guys,

I dont know whats going on but suddenly all my "third party applications"( not included in iLife) started to freeze after I open them. (Keynote, Pages, Skype, MSN Messenger, just to name a few). I have to force quit them.

Any ideas whats going on?

Regards!

If you upgraded to 10.6 from 10.5, make sure that you have the latest supported versions of those individual suites/apps. Keynote '09 should be 5.0.3, Pages 4.0.3. Skype should be 2.8, and MSN Messenger's latest revision is 7.0.2. Apple likely released compatibility updates for the iWork suite before Snow Leopard was launched, Skype around the same time or a bit afterwards as some other software developers had. MSN Messenger hasn't had a full release since Feb. 2009 so either it works with 10.6 with no issues or they decided that they could wait for the bug reports to come in before they do anything :). Also make certain that you have Mac OS X 10.6.2. Long story short, make sure everything is updated.
