Greetings all!
I am having serious problems since upgrading to Snow Leopard.
Copying files from an external device results in a message: 'Preparing to copy ..." which goes on indefinitely. If I open the document in the external device and use "Save As" to transfer it to the hard disk, there is no problem; but drag and drop doesn't work.
Trying to empty the trash results in a message: "Preparing to empty ..." but nothing happens.
It appears that the problem affects Finder functions. (I also experienced crashes with Quark Xpress 8, but I am sure that was due to Application Enhancer, since deleted.)
I am beginning to see why the Snow Leopard is in danger of extinction ... but in fairness, I must admit, I may have installed something incompatible that causes the problem ...
Any help will be most appreciated. SHKZLUhttp://images.macrumors.com/vb/images/smilies/confused.gif
