Snow Leopard and HP Color Laserjet 3505n

I am using an HP Color Laserjet 3505n. Will snow leopard work with this printer?

Snow Leopard does not work with 3505n

Even though the apple support pages say that "HP 3500" printers are supported, I'm having nothing but problems. I've set the printer up to use the Generic PCL 6 driver and that gets me to be able to print in black and white. It also doesn't engage the HP software like it did in the 10.5 OS X. But no color yet. If anyone has solved that, i would appreciate knowing about it.
