I have never done an upgrade in my long life. I have the 13 MBP and ordered the $9.95 upgrade. I guess my question is when you install Snow Leopard does it leave your mail accounts, Itunes movies, music, pictures and apps as they were or do you have to go in and redo a lot of things???

Snow Leopasrtd

Looked before I posted but could find it discussed. Found a lot of discussions about Snow Leopard but could not find my answer. I figured most people just knew more than a 66 yr old guy with a fairly new MBP. Thank you for the help.

You will be fine, updating is VERY seamless.
While it is never a bad idea to have a backup of all your beloved files like music, photos, and movies all of those will be preserved in the update.
