Hello,

I will be getting snow leopard this friday and I wanted to know if I should do a clean install if it's possible. I know that I can upgrade straight from leo to snow leo, but I want to erase everything since my Leopard has started to act weird lately.

I currently have Leopard installed, so should I:

1. Make a clean install of Leopard and then afterwards install Snow Leopard
2. Erase the partition and install Snow Leopard

In case of #1 and #2, will i be missing iLife 09 which came already pre-installed on my iMac? How do i get it back?

Thanks in advance.

For your question about reinstalling iLife, your Mac would have come with a disc containing all the preinstalled applications. After installing Snow Leopard, you can use it to reinstall those apps.
