Hi

I am at my whits end and am ready to throw my macbook at the floor with this!

Ever since I went to snow leopard, I have problems with airport. I can never connect to certain wireless networks without having to change the order of network devices in system preferences.

This has done this from day 1. Is anyone else having this issue sorted it, and WHY HAVE APPLE NOT FIXED IT?!?!?!?!

I called the helpline and asked them what's going on and they said it was an problem isolated to just me. Funny that, because my brothers mac mini does it too, yet my sisters mbp doesn't.

aaaggghhhh!!!!!!

Thanks in advance, ste:mad:

Have you tried resetting your Airport card? Have you tried running a test account to see if the problem continues?

Resetting a 10.6.x Airport card:
1. Turn Airport OFF!!!
2. Navigate to the folder /YourHardDrive/Library/System Configuration/ and delete the files:

a) com.apple.airport.preferences.plist
b) com.apple.nat.plist
c) com.apple.network.identification.plist

3. RESTART immediately!!!! This will rebuild those files in OS X.
4. Open the restart open System Preferences->Network pane and join your wireless network again.
5. Hope that this works.
