I wanted to know where I can find the Snow leopard dmg file. I'm trying to install it via USB but I need to find the image first. I was told to go to the apple developer webpage but I can't find it there. Maybe i'm looking in the wrong place!

Can anyone help me?
 
Apple does not offer its OSs for public download. You could use the restore DVDs that came with your Mac or get the Snow Leopard Upgrade DVD for 29 USD.
 
Are you a paid-up (US$99/year) developer? If not, you won't have access to the OS downloads and will need to buy it on DVD.
