Snow Leopard Dock Weirdness

I installed SL on my iMac last week and changed the icon for the applications folder on my dock - no problem.

Did the same for my Macbook last night and now the applications folder on both docks keeps disappearing. I use Mobile Me to sync the docks.

I've dragged the folder from Finder into the dock and it stays briefly and then disappears.

I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

Had the same problem.
Eventually after resetting the dock;

Go into Terminal:

defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean NO

Then re-start Dock:

killall Dock

then syncing both MobileMe panels AND THEN re making my dock on one machine again AND THEN re-syncing the problem seems to have stopped.

Sorry that's a very messy response, but it has worked for me.
