Never quite sure
Friends: What part of the Snow Leopard (Client) EULA prohibits running SL client in a virtual machine ruinning Lion?

Here are links to the Apple EULA documents:
http://www.apple.com/legal/sla/

Here is the relevant SL client text:

QUOTE:
2. Permitted License Uses and Restrictions.
A. Single Use License. Subject to the terms and conditions of this License, unless you have purchased a Family Pack or Upgrade license for the Apple Software, you are granted a limited non-exclusive license to install, use and run one (1) copy of the Apple Software on a single Apple-branded computer at a time. You agree not to install, use or run the Apple Software on any non-Apple-branded computer, or to enable others to do so. This License does not allow the Apple Software to exist on more than one computer at a time, and you may not make the Apple Software available over a network where it could be used by multiple computers at the same time.

There seems to be a widely held (and repeated) belief that virtualisation of SL client is prohibited, but I fail to see the language in the EULA that sets out this prohibition if the host system is running a different OS version (i.e. Lion). It seems to me that virtualising SL in Lion would not be in breach of either the SL nor the Lion EULA agreements.

The only thing you need SL server for (according to the SL server EULA) is to virtualise SL server within SL server.
