Might be in the wrong section but I am talking about Snow Leopard so whatevs.

1. Could you get in any legal trouble for breaking a EULA agreement in the U.S? (Like installing SL on Tiger)

2. If you openly admit that you are on Tiger at the Apple Store can they refuse to let you buy SL since it breaks the EULA?

I'm asking these question because my friend and I are going to the Apple Store this weekend and want to know if she can install it without getting in trouble or even being able to buy it in the first place.

Why even tell the Apple store people you have Tiger? Just buy Snow Leopard and leave. Apple isn't going to go after individual violators of the EULA for something so simple as putting SL on top of Tiger.

You can't get in any legal trouble, and I actually passively mentioned I was installing SL on top of Tiger when I bought a copy of it, and the Apple Store employee I was talking to just said good luck to the install.

This.
