Snow Leopard family pack

Ok i have a question about this. My brother and I bought the family pack, although he is eligible for the 9.95 upgrade.

Now I know the family pack is good for 5 computers, but my question is; on those 5 computers (we only have 2 Macs), is it unlimited installs? The guy at the Apple store said the install disc embeds a serial or some number, rather that is true or not, I am not concerned. I am just concerned that if I want to reformat down the road, and i install SL now, will it count as another computer? The guy at the Apple Store seemed confused, which isn't surprising..

I have searched for this answer to no suffice.

No. You have unlimited installs on one computer.

apple store people will obviously not admit you can install it unlimited times, but it's true that you can install it unlimited times.

well i am not sharing this disc, but i wasnt sure if the family pack is the same as the install disc (restore) that comes with a Mac. Thanks for the advice!!
