Snow Leopard Fan Problem

Hey,

So I've got a 2006 MacBook Pro, the first gen one and I've just installed SL.

I'm having a major problem with the fans - Everytime I connect to a wifi signal, something called Agent Daemon activates and according to Activity Monitor it's using 100% of the CPU power which results in the fans spinning constantly and very loudly.

I've tried resetting PRAM and SMC but to no avail.

Anyone have any ideas?
