Hey all,
Problem:
Backing up multiple folders with lots of data (media) from one external HDD to another. I walk away, as it will take hours (we're talking 800gb). Invariably, at some point a file is corrupt, or something, and OSX stops, and tells me that "File X could not be read/written" and waits for me to return to click, "ok" so that I can start all over again, deselect that one file and hope no more are corrupt.
Desired Solution:
Transfer everything and skip unreadable files, giving me a log at the end telling me which files were bad.
Is this possible in OSX natively? If not, is there a program, or maybe applescript that would help me?
Thanks in advance for any help.
