Snow Leopard free upgrade grace period?

When Snow Leopard is eventually released will Apple give any sort of grace period to customers who recently purchased an Apple computer? I thought I had heard there was a 30-day grace period for past releases but not sure if there is any truth to this. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Here's to hoping for a SL release by WWDC! ;)

14 days would be a fair guess if you ask me.
 
Historically, it is a free upgrade (plus S&H) starting with the date that the shipping date is announced.
