Can we still tweak our Finder to shut off Zooming Window Animations and List View Stripes?

I'm curious. Hopefully they didn't block out these hidden features. I absolutely hate the zooming window animation. It looks cheesy to me.

Let me know if you've been able to turn them off. Thanks.
