I got the update disc of Snow Leopard for the MacBook Pro I bought in June.

My question: Can I do a clean install on my Macbook with this? That is, can I completely zero out the drive/erase the disc, and then install from the updater disc?

Also, will MS Office 2004 work with Snow Leopard?

Thanks!

Yes you can do a clean install and zero out your drive if you wish. (Takes a few hours though). MS Office 2004 will work, be sure to install Rosetta.

Thanks! How do you install rosetta? Is that an option under the customization window when you install SL?
