Hi all,

this maybe a stupid question, but we only moved over to Mac from PC, in March this year so I'm not to sure on how Mac upgrades work.
We have a graphic and web design business, and we are looking at upgrading Leopard to Snow Leopard, my question is when you install a new OS on Mac like snow leopard, will this just upgrade the software and keep all your emails and files intact. Or does Mac do a complete fresh intstall, which means you will lose all your mail and other client files.
We do a backup every night, so it's not a problem if it does just a pain to install again.

Thanks

This is for the 15th time I answer this kind of question (just answered one) so please look before you ask.

Anyway yes there is an upgrade option that will not remove any data or application but it's always safe to keep backup

Thank you

Thank you for your answer.
Sorry I didn't look, but I don't have time.
To much work, and not enough time, I only had 5 mins to ask that question!
