First the bad news - consistent kernel panics
Good news - found a remedy in disabling my screen saver.
I'd like to use my screen saver without getting kernel panics. I've tried erasing my drive and restoring from a back up. resetting PRAM, repaired permissions and ran Tech Tool Pro 5 (file structures and repaired persmissions, everything else checked out fine). Does anyone have any clues or ideas?

Which screensaver are you using? If it's a built-in one, you may have a more serious problem, but if it's a third-party one, look for an update or leave it off. Not all screensavers work properly in Snow Leopard, I've noticed. If it's not updated, you're probably just going to have to use a different one. Of course, ignore that if you are using a built-in one.

Did the Panic happen as you tried to use screen saver, coming out of screen saver or random Panics just by having the screen saver selected in prefs ?
