My computer is getting kinda old. I still am running Snow Leopard on my system. WHY? Well, cause Lion doesn't support old PowerPC apps like Photoshop CS. I guess this problem was addressed WAY back when Lion came out and people either had to find a mod/extension for the Mac that allows for the operation of PowerPC apps on Lion, or just re-download ALL those apps again.

So, my question is, how do I get around that? I am having trouble finding ANY new apps that support 10.6. In fact, almost all store bought apps have stopped supporting 10.6. So, it looks like my days of avoiding 10.7 are over. I really rather not get 10.8. My computer is old and I don't wanna upgrade it needlessly for pointless features.

I'm running out of time and options. My Google searches are ending up unfruitful, and I am not willing to find new copies of PS:CS2,3,4 (or whatever version that wasn't made for Power PC macs). Not to mention the countless OTHER apps that are floating around on my HD that also don't run on Lion.

Any Apple Mac gurus out there and willing to tell me how they dealt with the Snow Leopard > Lion transition? Any links to apps that allow PowerPC apps use in Lion?
