So for those of you that have been testing Snow Leopard, how much of a speedup are you seeing between the rewritten finder in Cocoa and the new enhancements that use more of the GPU?
Right now I have a 2.2GHz/4GB/8600GT MBP and I'm somewhat excited for Snow Leopard simply because I think (hope) that these improvements will give my machine some marginally extended longevity.
I guess anything that they claim will use my dedicated GPU, that was originally tasked to my CPU, is a good thing.
