ive looked around and seen questions but not answers...

will opencl be used by imacs with the nvidia 8800gs??.....its not on the apple list and some people say its a typing mistake but apple would have fixed that by now i think

there doesnt seem a technical reason why 8800gs cant do it as far as i know but thats not far

have anyone heard anything more on this??

'My friend says there's not much documentation up yet about OpenCL and that the current Snow Leopard release might not even have support for it yet, as it's more of a testing bed for basic compatibility with Snow Leopard's main system, acceleration techniques notwithstanding.
