2 days ago, my I decided to use my Snow Leopard Setup DVD disk utility to erase my intel based iMac's hard drive.

When I erased it, I was going to reinstall the Snow Leopard OSX. Everything was going fine until the actual installation. It gives me a message about how some files can't be copied and to restart it. I've restarted it and the same error message came up.

Now I'm stuck without an OS on my iMac's hard drive. Can you me find out the cause of this problem? My idea at this point is that my Snow Leopard CD is damaged? Help please.
