Has anyone who has upgraded to Lion created another partition and put Snow Leopard back on? This has crossed my mind recently...

I just tried it myself yesterday, but kept getting error when trying to boot up from the SL installation disc...

I did it before installing Lion to be honest. Partitioned the drive, kept SL in a 200GB partition and then clean installed Lion in the new partition. All worked well, SL still there and working perfectly but I've only gone back to SL once since doing it and that was just to see a comparison!! Lion kicks it's ass imho.

Did this just last week on my MacBook. Everything works fine with booting either Lion or Snow Leopard. Had no troubles reinstalling SL either. Just used a Time Machine backup from when Snow Leopard was still originally installed. Everything was just as it was before I upgraded to Lion.
