Snow Leopard printing

Hello everyone,

I just upgraded to Snow Leopard, and noticed that my network printer at home which I previously used over appletalk does not work anymore in snow leopard. Does not show up at all. I learned that Snow Leopard dropped support for appletalk, but was wondering, is there any way that I could get this type of printer to work with my mac again, seeing as windows machines connect to it not using appletalk. Or is this not possible.

I have an HP Color Laserjet 4500DN.
