Snow Leopard really sucks....

...at being garbage!! Just installed it and very impressed so far. Everything seems snappier (especially Safari of course), and it's freed me up no less than 14GB of disk space. Nice!

It's worth noting that it dosen't actually give you more space, it just counts the memory differently.

It actually does save some space but also uses Base 10. So both of you are right.

Supposedly a lot of it is from removing the printer drivers and installing them on demand... at least one of the early reviews said it was mostly this and not primarily the removal of PPC code, because the 64 bit binaries took up a lot of the space left behind by the PPC binaries.
