I'm curious whether sandboxing is improved much.

I see there is a manual entry for sandbox-simplify although I cant get to generate a working firefox profile. Googling sandbox-simplify finds nothing so this could be new?
 
Can someone elaborate on how to sandbox an application? I'd like to sandbox Firefox.
