I've noticed that Apple has changed how screenshots work in Snow Leopard. Significantly it no longer works properly with DVD Player open, even if you're not screenshotting that. The old Terminal trick doesn't seem to help - is there any way to get around this, or even better to let you take screenshots of DVDs again without having to use a different playback application? Nothing terribly nefarious, I just found it fun for making IM avatars 
I use two monitors and the Apple way is a little annoying as I end up with two screenshots of everything (unless I select an area). I used to use a little dashboard widget called Capture to take screenshots since it was compact yet powerful and didn't require quite so many finger gymnastics. This used to get around limitations in the past but doesn't work at all now. Is there anything similar out there? The developer doesn't seem to be updating Capture from their website.
