Snow Leopard spell check replace- will it work in mail and web posts?

Will Snow Leopard's spell check replacement feature in text edit carry over to mail, forum posts, etc? Taht sure would make me happy... Like back there when I spelled taht.

Considering it's not a feature of TextEdit, but of Snow Leopard, the answer is yes. As long as the application works with it (which I believe should be any Cocoa app), it will work there, including all of the apps you mentioned.
