Snow Leopard - Up to Date - Upgrade DVD of SL instead of Install DVD

Today I received my Up To Date Upgrade DVD of SL - and was wondering if anyone has tested the Up to Date Disk which is entitled "Upgrade DVD" versus the other disk I have which is an "Install DVD" - any differences - ?
