Alright.. I had VoiceOver setup on Leopard for the "speak selected text" What I used it for was reading in the background. I had the key setup for command+\ key and it would read the selected text. How do I go about turning this on with Snow Leopard as I can't figure out how you setup the keys like I did in Leopard.

System Preferences - Speech - Text to Speech - Speak selected text when the key is pressed

You can set whatever key you want in there, have no idea why they moved it to there.

Oh wow.. I overlooked Speech. I just got up and running and was playing with Universal Access..

Time for bed

Thanks
