Snow Leopard + Xbox 360 Controller = Fail?

So I have the newest version of pref360control, and it finds my controller perfectly and all the buttons map correctly but I just cant get it to work in game.

I've tried it on Peggle, Bejeweled, Fable TLC, etc. to no avail!

Do I need to do something special to enable it in the game(s)? I mainly want it to work with fable.

Any ideas??

Mine is working fine on the games I tried. Are you sure you have 0.08 installed? Here's the link.
