maybe this is a known issue, but i just (finally) installed snow leopard and upgraded to Xcode 3.2 so i'm not familiar with this problem. currently, i'm forced to manually save my IB changes prior to building the project, otherwise any changes in IB will not save as part of the build. my current settings in Xcode do not solve this issue:
Preferences > Building > For Unsaved Files: Always Save
additionally, and equally frustrating, the Open Recent File and Open Recent Project are always empty, regardless of how many files and projects have been opened since i've updated.
[UPDATE]
attached is some console messages when starting up IB. i'm pretty sure they're related but i'm not certain.
[UPDATE 2]
so i realized the problem with recent project/file list is because of the new Appearance setting manages all recent lists globally. but concerning the out-of-sync IB, there is no answer. it's a pretty significant bug if you ask me, but i'll blame snow leopard upgrade for that. it's clean install time *sigh*
