Hi all,
As the title says, I upgraded to Snow Leopard (didn't have a pre-existing windows partition at the time). I partitioned via bootcamp and installed Windows XP SP2 without a problem. I installed drivers from the Snow Leopard disk.
After I had shut down and later returned, I tried to boot into windows. I got the windows logo splash screen but just as the desktop was coming up, it rebooted. If I let it, it would continuously do this - load up to desktop and immediately reboot over and over and over again.
Some things I've tried:
I've booted into safe mode (with and without networking) but the reboot still happened.
I ran chkdsk which turned up nothing.
I did a repair installation of windows which allowed me to get to the desktop. But upon shutdown, the reboot problem appeared the next time I booted.
Ideas?
Sorry for got to mention I'm working on a Mac Book Pro c2d, 2 gigs of ram .. 8600m gpu .. don't think these stats matter but can't hurt.
