Has anyone noticed an obvious difference in appearance between 10.5 and 10.6? I don't mean a change in the UI necessarily, I just mean something that makes it obvious that the system is running Snow Leopard instead of just Leopard.

I ask this because it seems that every version of OSX had this sort of "insignia" so us avid mac users can tell the difference ;)
10.0->10.1 I think the apple logo was different
10.1->10.2 Dock lost pin stripes
10.2->10.3 Finder icon changed
10.3->10.4 Spotlight, menu bar became glossy
10.4->10.5 3D Dock, transparent menu bar
10.5->10.6 ???

The only thing I can think of right now was that Apple changed the default contrast ratio to a warmer one. But that's kind of hard to tell unless you saw two systems side by side with the same monitor...

the new default aurora desktop and charcoal dock menus? also hard drive icons on the desktop are turned off by default. little but i would notice them from afar.

- come on....there are more obvious changes...for ex....Finder looked completely different in 10.3, and the significantly toned down aqua

as far as Snow Leopard...new QuickTime icon? then again, SL is a more refined Leopard much like 10.1 is to 10.0. it's not meant to bring any blatant UI changes.
