Hey all,

I have Snow Leopard's Mail App configured with my university's Exchange 2007 server. My iPhone gets mail pushed the second it is received, but it may take my Mail app on Snow Leopard several minutes to receive pushed mail unless I manually hit Get Mail. Any idea why this would be or how I can fix it?

Thanks

change the check mail interval to 1 minute. that's the best you can do.
Ah.. I see. When Apple advertised that Snow Leopard was fully compatible with Exchange 2007, I assumed it was actually true, and not that they don't support the most important part of Exchange: live syncing. Even the iPhone supports this.

Oh well, I've changed it to every minute. Thanks

So it's not really "push"?

change the check mail interval to 1 minute. that's the best you can do.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but this seems to indicate that "push" is not supported in an Exchange/mail.app configuration? If you have to poll every "x" minutes, that's not push.
