Very different. The back is noticeably lighter. It almost matches the MacBook Pro Space Grey, which I really love.

Call me mad but besides the att finish, I think they slightly changed the Stainless Steel bands also. They're bolder, but I can be delusional (the space gray color is darker and more pronounced, so is the gold one).

The back yes. Matte back, colour is much lighter and around the cameras is darker.

The stainless steel sides, no. Those are identical to the Space grey X and XS.
