So 3.0.1 prevents tethering? Do we know that for sure?

I haven't upgraded yet, and I just wanted to ask. Searched, but I may have overlooked something.

As of now, I use tethering frequently, and I've had no drawbacks at all with anything (no problem with AT&T mentioning bandwidth and billing me, and no problem with it not working).

My tethering still works flawlessly on 3.0.1.

iPhone OS 3.0 and above should not block tethering, because tethering is part of its new features worldwide. It is just the U.S. carrier (read "AT&T") is not ready to let its customers use its feature officially.

I am on 3.12 and mine tethers perfectly!! No problems what so ever!!
