I need to know what to get accustomed to/start using myself. I think it's safe to assume the majority will either use "iPhone 4", it's official name, or "i4", the main nickname we've been seeing around.

(If there is something else you prefer, post it.)

Here's my list of do's and don't's:
Do:
iPhone 4
iphone 4
newest iphone
i4
iP4
ip4

Don't:
Iphone 4
IPhone 4
iPhone 4G (all variations)
newest IPhone
newest Iphone

Definitely DON'T:
i-phone 4
I-Phone 4
I-phone 4

I like iP4
I like this one too. When I read it in my head I say "iPhone 4". Whenever I read i4 it's more of an "eye four" type deal. Plus, i4 reminds me of some old Mac or an Intel processor like below.

I'll continue to refer to it as iPhone 4. i4 refers to an internal project I was one upon a time involved in.

works for me: iPhone4 or iP4

also will do: iPhone 4th gen (generation)

definitely not: iPhone "4G"

The reason we don't want to call it 4G or iPhone 4G is because it's not truly a 4G phone, it still uses the 3G cellular network, not 4G, so calling it 4G just isn't right!!

Sure. Why not? Like I care.

With the reception issues, taking out the "Phone" part in iPhone 4 makes perfect sense right now.

I voted iPhone 4. Gotta love the auto correct that capitalizes the "P" for you. But I would have voted for "iP4" if it was an option.
