everyone knows the drama with the pre orders and if you haven't gotten a pre order by now there doesn't seem to be another way out, except I am confused. People have made pre orders to reserve phones for pickup at a local store, but will there still be a general stock of phones for people like me who couldn't get a reserve? I waited overnight at my local at&t store for the 3G and I was wondering if I could do the same for now.

yes there will be a general stock, there is stock for preorder/reserves and a stock for walk ins. they aren't going to shut out the walk ins, they want the buzz of people camping out in long lines
