SO, can you pre-order with Debit?!

I really hate to make a new thread about this but everyone is coming up with different answers.
I plan on using my Visa Debit Card from Chase Bank to pre-order the iPhone 4.
I use this card to pay my bills and for pretty much everything.
I do not have a credit card.
Will I be able to pre-order?

Coming from someone who actually owns a visa debit card I can say yes you can. It will be charged as credit and wont show up on your statement until a few days after the transaction. (or it will appear in the "check card authorizations" area.)

I use "credit" each time I use my debit card. I have the US Bank flex perks cash rewards so each time I use it as credit I get cash back. Plus I can have that cash rewards transfered to my savings each month on the 15th.
