I've been waiting to get an Apple laptop since 2003 and I've finally gotten enough money to get a Macbook + an iPod. :D We're going on a vacation in a week so I have to wait till we get back  But this gives me an excuse to look forward to WWDC :)

All my hard work at my job finally paid off ;) This will be my first Mac too, I'm really excited :D

Lucky you. I have to wait about another month to get a new computer

Yes I agree you will be a very happy person! I got my mac mini last week. Loving it :D

Glad to hear that you will be purchasing a MacBook shortly SuperSnake2012. :) It sounds like you deserve to finally get one after waiting so long to do so. :)

I'm only 16 too so this is gonna be a huge purchase for me... I'll probably have killer buyer's remorse but I know I'm going to bookmark the FedEx home page and refresh it every 5 minutes

Buyer's Remorse is just nature's way of telling you to buy more stuff. Nothing beats Buyer's Remorse like Retail Therapy.

Good work on the saving, nothing beats owning something you worked really hard to achieve.

Take care of it and if you are one of the very fewq unfortunate enough to get a bit of a lemon, put that warrnty to good use - nothing makes a company increase it's QC budget like increased warranty repairs.

*looks at title* so how do macs taste? :p
And congrats on working that hard to get your first mac! I had to go through the same process of working really hard on chores and in the backyard to get enough for my mac and my parents don't pay well. It only took me a year to get my 14" iBook G4 1.33GHz and it was my biggest purchase... ever, so far. But I am happy with everything except the speed but you're getting the macbook so you should have no problems with speed for some time.

Mine tastes like pain

Does anyone know how long the rebate for the iPod takes to come in? I'm gonna have to wait that long until I can afford the memory upgrade, so I'll be stuck on 512MB for a long time
