this is where the mistake was made. just don't pick up and say you didn't have any signal because of att.
 
that's like the mom who calls her daughter and is like

"where are you?"
"i told you mom, im at the library"'
"oh yeah? send me a picture of the library with a clock in it, so I know you're there"

if they weren't that untrusting before, it won't happen with facetime....hopefully
 
This is pretty funny because my girlfriend and I actually did break up today.

Yet it was completely non-iphone related.
