This is hilarious and I've never heard Leo like this. Mike Arrington had it coming. He's long been the sleaziest of all tech blog reporters. With the exception of MG Siegler, TC is mainly a tech tabloid. Heavy on sensationalism and little on value.

I saw it live. A spectacular meltdown. I just checked Leo's site and it looks like he did indeed drop the Gillmor Gang from the TWiT lineup.

I saw it after the fact, not live. Mike Arrington should have known better. How could he think someone like Leo Laport would be influenced to recommend a product just because he got a review unite is shameful. Not only that, at the end he tells Leo "What are you going to do about it?". I mean the guy had it coming.

You go Leo.

Good. That show was like Jerry Springer.

Arrington is known as a world class jerk. TC is nothing but a tabloid. It was disrespectful considering that Leo offered to host the show on his TwitLive. He dosen't have any respect for anyone and it comes across in his posts on TC.

I've never followed Mike Arrington or TC, but I'm a subscriber to a few TWiT podcasts. It was cool to hear Leo stand up for himself like that.

I saw it after the fact and I completely understand why Leo got so upset. I don't think I have ever heard Leo get that mad since I started listening and watching a few years ago. He doesn't seem to even be the kind of guy that would be biased because he got something for free.

I had respect for Leo before, but this just brings it to a whole new level. Arrington needed to be told, and he got told alright.

It will be VERY interesting to see what Laporte have to say about this on This WEEK in Tech that was recorded today. We'll find out when the audio is released late tonight on the iTunes podcast feed.

I've always had a lot of respect for Leo, and now I have even more.

A few months back on the Adam Carolla podcast, Adam got Leo to drop the f-bomb. One of my all time favorite Leo moments.
